The above image makes me happy. It is a picture of Isabel and her best friend Gracie. Isabel and Gracie have known each other since they were 3 years old....they met sooner than that but didn't really care about each other until Gracie moved here permanently when her parents decided to move back to Mount Pleasant. Up until then they just saw each other occasionally when Gracie was here visiting her grandparents or other family events.The reason that picture makes me happy is that it reminds me of my own childhood best friend...Tee Miller. (Or TeeMaree Moser as she is known as now-a-days!) I met Tee on a ward camp out when we first moved to Middleton. She let me hang around with her and her brothers....from then on it was history in the making. She and I spent endless days doing whatever girls from the ages of 6 years old and up do. It involved a lot of horses, dancing, (creating our OWN routines of course!) camping, softball, forts & bushes....(yes that's right bushes...remember those Tee? in front of your house?) and most of all...sleep-overs. Not a Friday went by that we weren't BEGGING to have a sleepover .....most of the time it happened! The fun continued all the way up into our college years....a permanent sleep over!! YEAH! It couldn't get any better! Great memories....thanks Tee for a great time!!
Those fond memories I have are so sweet and whenever I see Isabel and Gracie it brings a smile to my face.....creating her own memories with her own best friend.
