HAPPY LEAP DAY!!

Hello to all! I just thought given the day ... it would be a good day to create a new post! However there hasn't been any new news as of late....so I'm going to show you a couple pictures that illustrate our lives the past couple of weeks.....they involve food....and of course what else...Isabel! So the first picture totally cracks me up...Isabel came out of her room the other day and said: "Mom, I sure wish I didn't have a snout!" I looked up from what I was doing and this is what I saw:
Nice huh? That's what I thought.....this is the child that we've raised!! I must admit that it was pretty funny....I think that she was pretty impressed with herself...(given the fact that she was happy to pose for a picture!)

The next picture is documentation of disappointment. See, there is this little bakery that we like to stop at on the way home from visiting Sue's house called "Cake in a Cup". (It's a perfect break that we need in the middle of our 6 hour trip) Can I just say Red Velvet Cupcakes anyone? Anyway, we left Sue's house early in order to be able to make it there in time...before it closed. When we pulled in.....they were closed....every Monday!! YIKES! Major mental note.....do NOT drive home from Sue's on a Monday...yes it's worth planning our trip around their hours!Take care everyone!! Hope you have a great February 29th!!
