Every Summer since Isabel was born, we have taken her picture with an old antique tub that Tom and I bought at an antique store YEARS ago.... Where do we take these pictures you ask? Well, we either take her into a field of hay fever causing agents, or a barn filled with "tetanus shot required" nails everywhere, or insect infested gardens... all in the name of getting "The Shot!". So this year, as you can imagine, the thought of doing it with 2 kids was a bit daunting.... and we constantly kept putting it off. Well, it started to get cold around here, and I got stressed out about not getting the "Annual Picture With The Tin Tub" taken. I know that most of you out there are saying to yourselves: "If only Maria would lighten up a little and quit being so OCD about everything, she would realize that it's not a big deal to "not get everything done that she wants to get done!" Well my friends, not today!! We did it... and we had success!! And we learned that "cold" is good.... no hayfever, insects, hot sweaty crabby Tom... (yes it's true.. he does get crabby once in awhile). The only drawback was that it was too cold to do a "naked" shot in the tin tub. (I would post Isabel's pictures from when she was a baby... but unfortunately the first 4 years of her life aren't weren't recorded on a digital camera... so I have a ton of negatives that need to be converted to digital... another day....maybe tomorrow!)
Because we took pictures of the kids separately, I didn't get any pictures of them together... maybe next week. They are usually converted to "sepia tone", but I loved the fall colors so much, I left them as is.
Happy Fall!!
