We were going to go camping over Labor Day. But it rained. So we decided to spend a few days over on the coast of Lake Michigan. So fun! Thankfully the weather decided to cooperate after awhile and we ended up having a great weekend. We spent some time at Crystal Mountain playing around. They have a great alpine slide, pool, (which we didn't use!) mountain biking trails, (armor anyone?) and awesome hiking. Good times!
Then we headed over to the coast to Frankfort.... a quaint little town that Tom and I had stayed at on our 9th anniversary when I was pregnant with Isabel. We hadn't been back since then, so we decided that it was time to re-visit with the kids! (Can I just say that it still feels weird to say "kids"? Love it though!)
The weather cleared up and we were able to do some kite flying on the beach. (Which incidentally has turned into one of Tom's favorite past times... I didn't know that he even brought the kite and before I knew it, I looked over and saw he and Isabel flying it!)
