3 Days before Halloween we decided to get our pumpkins.
BAD IDEA
There were none to be had.... OK, at least none that weren't moldy, mushy or rotten.
So here we all are at the pumpkin patch trying to have a Michigan Fall "experience".

Here are the following things that I learned:
Lesson # 1: Go at least 1 week before Halloween to pick out pumpkins.
(Preferably 2 weeks)
Lesson #2: Take a picture of the in-laws when they're least expecting it.... like when you tell them that they will be carrying the moldy pumpkins home on their laps in the car.... then HURRY AND SNAP THE SHOT!
(I've learned this from lots of "trying" to get a smile out of them... for proof, see previous posts!)
Lesson #3: Always take a picture of your husband and his dad.... it's priceless.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
