Whew! Summer's finally here and school's out! YEAH! Now we can resume our lives with our own schedule as well as being able to do whatever we want to do WHENEVER we want to do it. Wait..... according to Isabel's absentee record this year.... we do that year-round. (Seriously..she had 18 absences last year.... Yikes.) But according to her teacher.... she is doing "just great". I ALWAYS ask her teacher if it's OK to pull her out of school for our whimsical trips.... and she always tells me that she is doing just fine and that we can have her. Woo Hoo! (How long can I expect this type of flexibility to last???) But seriously, she really is doing fine....she got all 3's and 4's on her report card...(FYI: they are equivalent to A's and B's) Anyway.... enough justifying my mothering... here are a few pictures from our recent events:
